I submitted my thesis, entitled "Neutral Hydrogen in the Nearby Universe," on April 1 1998, and graduated on December 5 the same year.  The PostScript files below are available for download.  Some of them are largish, so you would be wise to first obtain the Preface section, which contains the Tables of Contents, Tables and Figures which will help you decide what you might find interesting.
