The Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI)
Are we alone in the Universe? This is one of the biggest questions
which still remains unanswered. Although popularised in many films and
television series, the existence of Extra Terrestrial (ET) intelligence is
still a subject of much serious (and not-so serious) debate.
There are now a number of research programs which involve a strategic
search for ETs, mostly using radio telescopes to look for signals from
an advanced intelligence.
The most advanced pages are marked with [A],
and graphically intensive pages with [G] .
