The ANITA Steering Committee would like to thank all participants for making this workshop an outstanding success. We hope to see you all next year at Swinburne University, Melbourne for the ANITA2010 workshop on Theoretical Astrophysics.

Announcement
Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to attend the Third Workshop of the Australian National Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (ANITA), to be held on the 13th and 14th of March 2009 at the Research School for Astronomy and Astrophysics at the Australian National University, Mt. Stromlo Observatory, Canberra.

The main aims of the workshop are:
  • to provide a review of Theoretical Astrophysics in Australia and a platform for current research,
  • to facilitate collaboration between theorists and observers,
  • to promote a sense of community among theoretical astrophysicists,
  • to educate students and enhance their opportunities in the Australian and international community.

Approximately 30 minutes will be allocated for each oral presentation. There will be no formal proceedings, but contributions will be available on the web after the workshop.

The Registration fee of $70 ($40 for students) will cover the costs of morning and afternoon teas and lunch. This will be payable at the registration desk by cash, cheque, or credit card. There will be a dinner on Friday evening at a Canberra restaurant, to be paid for on the night.
